Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 Marvel Knights DLC Pack Releases September 30th

Nintendo UK has revealed the official launch date for the first DLC Pack of Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order.

The news comes from Nintendo UK’s official store page for Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3, which reveals that the pack will be launching on September 30th and will be titled “Marvel Knights: Curse Of The Vampire!”. While the Marvel Knights theme was previously revealed at San Diego Comic-Con, this is the first we’ve heard of a specific release date as well as official name for the pack.

Interestingly, the release date of September 30th is exactly a month after Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3‘s first free update adding Cyclops & Colossus on August 30th. Given that the second DLC Pack of the Expansion Pass arrives in Late 2019, its possible that there are plans for free updates to arrive in between each Expansion Pass DLC Pack.

If such a schedule holds true, it would allow for the game to receive monthly updates all the way up until January 2020, when the current DLC schedule is planned to end. That said, this is all just speculation, and we will be sure to bring official information as it comes.

Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order is available now for Nintendo Switch.
