Earlier this year, Super Smash Bros. creator Masahiro Sakurai started his own YouTube channel – where he talks about the art of making videogames. Well, it looks like the channel is already off to a flying start!
YouTube has awarded Sakurai with a Silver Play Button, to commemorate his channel passing 100,000 subscribers already. This was shared by Sakurai himself just today:
Currently, Sakurai’s English and Japanese YouTube channels have racked up over 800,000 subscribers together. It remains to be seen if he can hit the big milestone of 1 million subscribers – which YouTube typically awards a Gold Play Button for.
We’ll report back if we hear more about Sakurai’s YouTube endeavors in the future. Stay tuned!
