Masahiro Sakurai Mispronounces Fire Emblem In The Byleth Presentation

During the Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Byleth presentation, Masahiro Sakurai mispronounced “Fire Emblem” in the Japanese video.

The official Japanese title for Fire Emblem is “ファイアーエムブレム”, or “Faiaaemuburemu”. In the video, Sakurai mispronounced it as “ファイヤーブレム”, or “Faiyaaenburemu”. The letters in bold show what he had incorrectly mispronounced.

Personally I have made this mistake a few times in the past, so it’s not unusual to see native Japanese making the same mistake as well.
