Masahiro Sakurai Praises Hideo Kojima And Death Stranding

Masahiro Sakurai, the creator of Super Smash Bros., made some interesting comments about Death Stranding and its creator, Hideo Kojima.

In the upcoming issue of the Weekly Famitsu, Sakurai praised Death Stranding as it’s one of the few games that be “this original” and interesting at the same time. The creator loved the game so much that he lost track of time when he was playing it. He also piqued that the game is well-built.

That said, Sakurai knows Death Stranding isn’t a game everyone could enjoy. He criticized a few elements of the game, such as the difficult controls, user interface, and small font size.

Sakurai then poured praise over Hideo Kojima, the man who created Death Stranding. He said the game is proof of how talented Kojima is as he created it in a short period of time. Sakurai also believes many other game developers were “shocked and amazed” by the game.

What do you think? Let us know in the comments.
