For some time now, there has been some confusion swirling about XBox Game Pass, specifically about whether or not Microsoft was planning to bring it to consoles outside of PC and XBox, such as the Switch.
During the most recent Official Xbox Podcast, XBox head Phil Spencer once again reiterated that Game Pass would “only be available on Xbox”. This echoes more recent statements about the matter issued by the company, and is likely meant to put a more definitive end to speculation from fans.
That said, given that Spencer confirmed in the same podcast that there are plans to bring formerly Xbox exclusive titles to rival platforms, perhaps their stance on Game Pass could change again in the future. Stay tuned for more updates as they come.
