Monolith Soft, the developers behind the Xenoblade Chronicles series, have just reported their annual financial results, and it seems like they have had a rather successful fiscal year.
According to the results (which you can check out in the infographic below), Monolith Soft achieved their highest profit ever of 1.171 billion yen over the past year (fiscal period ending March 2021), with an increase of 138.2 percent year over year.
Apart from the release of Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition last year, the inclusion of Pyra And Mythra from Xenoblade Chronicles 2 in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate early this year likely also contributed towards the interest in Monolith Soft’s flagship JRPG series.
