Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate Doesn’t Support Japanese, Save Data In Japanese Version Unlikely To Be Compatible

Nintendo and Capcom have released details on the languages that Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate will support when released on August 28.

Players can enjoy Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate in English, Spanish, French, German, and Italian. One language missing from the list is Japanese.

Given that Monster Hunter XX was released on Nintendo Switch last August in Japan and the western release doesn’t support Japanese, an English patch for Monster Hunter XX is unlikely, and save files in Monster Hunter XX shouldn’t be compatible with Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate.
