It looks like Monster Hunter fans will have to free up some room on their Nintendo Switch consoles before the launch of Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin later this month – regardless of whether they purchase the game physically or not.
Copies of the game’s North American physical release have popped up in the wild, and fans have noted some unfortunate information from its package. As seen in the photos below, the physical edition of the game will apparently require a 15GB download.
What’s even more mysterious is that the game is only 13.5GB on the Nintendo Switch eShop (as pointed out further below). It is currently unclear if this 15GB download will be mandatory to play the game itself.
We’ll report back as we hear more in the future. Stay tuned.
