Mortal Kombat 1 Receives First Update For Switch, Adds Season 1 Invasions Content And More

Netherrealm has released the first update for the Switch version of Mortal Kombat 1.

This first update adds the first season of the game’s Invasions mode, which was previously missing from the Switch release. It also includes a number of performance fixes to address the numerous issues that were plaguing the Switch version upon launch. You can find the full patchnotes from Netherrealm below:

  • Gameplay balance changes
  • Leaderboard fixes
  • Visual improvements and general bug fixes
  • Performance improvements
  • Loading time improvements
  • Stability fixes
  • Localization fixes

Hopefully, this update will the the first steps to bringing the Switch version somewhat up to par with the other versions of the game. Stay tuned for more updates as they come.
