Earlier today, Bandai Namco trademarked ‘Klonoa of the Wind Encore‘ in Japan – which might point to at a possible remaster of the game. Well, it looks like Klonoa won’t be jumping back into the modern era alone!
Recently, fans have discovered that the publisher also registered several other ‘Encore’ games – thus raising the number of new trademarks to five, inclduing Klonoa. The full list of ‘Encore’ trademark entries is now as follows:
These listings aren’t only for show, either. In particular, the trademark listing for Mr. Driller Encore actually includes an official logo already – which you can see below.
Previously, Bandai Namco used the term ‘Encore’ for Katamari Damacy Encore in Japan, which launched as Katamari Damacy Reroll worldwide. From the looks of things, these past-gen titles are likely heading back onto modern consoles in a similar fashion! Hopefully Bandai Namco will make an official announcement soon!
What do you think of these new trademarks? Are you excited for possible remasters from the Mr. Driller and Klonoa series? Feel free to share your thoughts!
