This weekend, a Splatfest pitting Team My Melody against Team Pompompurin was fought in Splatoon 2 in Japan.
The popular vote was a close fight – My Melody took 47.66% of the votes, while Pompompurin edged it out at 52.34%. In terms of solo wins and team wins, it was an even closer fight – My Melody barely won by 50.31% and 51.09% respectively.
Next weekend, Team Hello Kitty will compete against Team My Melody, for the title of the best Sanrio character in Splatoon 2.
