When NBA Playgrounds launched for the Switch, some people were a bit bummed out by the fact that Saber Interactive held back some bells and whistles from the other platforms. This made the Switch version the “not so great” version of the game. Sure they managed to add some of the features back in such as online play, but they fumbled it up again with the “Enhanced edition” fiasco.
However, Saber Interactive is committed to not repeat their mistakes. In an email to Polygon, Saber Interactive CEO, Matthew Karch, promised that the Switch version of NBA Playgrounds 2 will launch with all the features.
“I can say with confidence that all four platforms are in parity feature-wise, and that our plan right now is to release all four platforms on the same day,” said Saber CEO Matthew Karch
It’s good to hear that Saber Interactive is taking steps to prevent a repeat of History. NBA Playgrounds 2 will be released later this Summer 2018.
