A while ago, some clever hackers were able to locate some new Hint Art in the files of the latest update to Super Mario Odyssey, but were not quite sure how it would be used. A new tweet from Nintendo has helped shed some light on the subject.

Well, there you have it: this Hint Art does not lead to a new Moon, but a hidden 8-bit Luigi who gives the player a large number of coins. We’re not quite sure what to make of it, but at least those datamined Hint Art are no longer a complete mystery.
