New Nintendo Patent Showcases Joy-Con With Bendable Hinge Joint

It seems like Nintendo is throwing all kinds of strange ideas at the drawing board again.

A new patent has reportedly surfaced from Nintendo, revealing what appears to be ‘bending’ Joy-Con controllers with a hinge joint! You can take a look some of the schematics below:

It’s not clear what the company hopes to achieve with this design, or if it will ever release for real – but it’s looking pretty crazy, for sure! We’ll report back if and when this design ever pops up again as an actual product in the future.
