New Pokemon Anime Manga Adaptation Announced For Japan

Corocoro magazine has announced they will be publishing an official manga adaptation of the upcoming new season of the Pokemon anime.

The manga is due to make its debut in the May 2023 issue of Corocoro,  which will release on April 14th, the same date as the anime’s debut. It will be drawn by artist Yamadaka Kei, and will star the new main characters Liko and Roy.

According to reports, the latest issue of Corocoro magazine includes a short preview of the manga, which you can view below:

At the time of this writing, it is not clear whether this will be a full length manga adaptation of the series, or a oneshot. It is also not known whether it will receive and English localization. Stay tuned for more updates as they come.
