New Pokemon Snap Photo Printing Service Announced For Lawson Stores In Japan

It looks like Pokemon fans in Japan will be able to preserve their New Pokemon Snap photos in physical form, when the game launches later this month!

The Pokemon Company and Lawson have announced a new collaboration starting from 30 April 2021 – where New Pokemon Snap players will be able to print their photos from the Switch game at Lawson convenience stores in Japan.

All players will need to do is transfer their photos from their Switch into a PC or smartphone, then access a special Lawson website to submit their photos for printing with the option of adding frames/calendar designs. They will then receive a printing number which they can take a Lawson store to redeem their submitted photo.

This special campaign somewhat mirrors one for the original Pokemon Snap – where players in the US could also print their in-game photos with special kiosks at Blockbuster stores. Of course, this time the service seems to be exclusive to Japan.

What do you think? Would you love to have a unique service like this where you live? Feel free to share below!
