New Video Appears To Leak Entire Detective Pikachu Film, But It’s Actually A Hilarious Marketing Stunt

The marketing campaign for Detective Pikachu just reached an entirely new level.

Recently, a rogue YouTube account appeared to be leaking the whole 1 hour 42 minutes of the upcoming movie. Around one minute in, however, the true nature of the video reveals itself in hilarious fashion.

We won’t spoil the surprise until further down this article, so check it out below.

Indeed, it looks like Warner Bros. released an entire fake leak that features almost 2 hours of Detective Pikachu dancing to retro music! While it may be a disappointment to potential movie pirates, it’s a pretty adorable marketing stunt that gave us a laugh too.

What do you think? Are you going to try and prank your friends with this video? Let us know in the comments below.
