A team of Niantic employees spent Pokemon GO Community Day together with local Chicago-based group DTC at Lincoln Park last weekend.
This was the first time Niantic employed a “boots on the ground” strategy and reached out to a local player group. The purpose of the visit was to test out in-game mechanics, network latency, and other things to make sure Pokemon GO Fest 2018 goes on smoothly this weekend.
