After an April’s Fool joke that Ikaruga would be getting a physical release, Nicalis seems to be fulfilling fans’ wishes for real!
Just today, the publisher posted a tweet teasing the classic shoot-em-up title for both Switch and PS4. This time, however, the company hinted that its newsletter subscribers would be getting some updates on the game soon!
This more or less confirms that we will hear about an Ikaruga physical release in the coming weeks. It also re-affirms Nicalis’ tradition of teasing retail releases on April Fools’ Day – so as to confuse its fans.
