Nihilego Added To Pokemon GO As Part Of GO Fest 2022 Day 2

Following the tease last month, Niantic has finally added Nihilego to Pokemon GO.

The first Ultra Beast is now being rolled out for the game as part of Pokemon GO Fest 2022 Day 2, and will appear in five start raids from Sunday June 5th 10AM local time to 6PM local time. It will also be accompanied by a new set of Special Research tasks.

Check out the trailer below, along with additional details via PokemonGOlive:

Trainers,

We’ve received numerous reports of Ultra Wormholes appearing in the sky around the world! We’ve managed to confirm that these Ultra Wormholes connect to Ultra Space—a world different from ours where mysterious Ultra Beasts appear. Trainers are advised not to approach these Ultra Wormholes or toss Berries into them. Surprisingly, it was confirmed that Ultra Beasts are coming to this world!

Team GO Rocket and a curious individual from the GO Ultra Recon Squad have also been sighted near the Ultra Wormholes. Keep your eyes peeled for the following during Pokémon GO Fest.

Nihilego emerges!

Nihilego, the Parasite Pokémon, makes its Pokémon GO debut in five-star raids on Sunday, June 5, 2022, from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. local time! Nihilego is a Rock- and Poison-type Pokémon. A life-form from another world, it was dubbed an Ultra Beast and is thought to produce a strong neurotoxin. Try using some Ground-type Pokémon you catch during Pokémon GO Fest to get an advantage in battle!
