Nintendo has shared more information about the recently released “Close To You” Pikmin short.

As shared on social media, the short was the first official animation produced by Nintendo Pictures, the company’s recently rebranded animation studio meant specifically to work on Nintendo projects. They also affirm that the studio will continue to produce more content in the future.

We hope you enjoyed the two “Close to You” videos released on October 7 and 8.

Many fans were hoping that the short was a teaser for a brand new Pikmin game project, and are likely to feel somewhat disappointed by this news. Stay tuned for more updates as they come.
