Nintendo: It’s Too Early To Talk About The Switch’s Success

The great minds behind the Nintendo Switch, Shinya Takahashi and Yoshiaki Koizumi, recently spoke to Engadget about the success of the hybrid console and its peculiar controller, the Joy-Con.

Koizumi said that the ability to remove the Joy-Con from the system has opened a wealth of possibilities for gameplay. Nintendo and other third party developers are currently researching ways they could better take advantage of it.

Takahashi mentioned Nintendo wants to continue making more games that make use of the Nintendo Switch hardware’s unique points. He’d like to see more people experiencing games on the Switch, so Takahashi felt it’s too early to talk about the Switch’s success, as it’s still on the road to success.
