There’s a new pro consumer option for players buying games from the Nintendo eShop.
Up until this point, buying games from the Nintendo eShop would charge players immediately after making a purchase even if the game hadn’t been released yet. But if you want to cancel a pre-order you can now get your money back for that game.
All you need to do is make sure you cancel your pre-order 7 days before the game releases. This gives you more time to cancel your pre-order if you change your mind or just want your account to not be charged.
