A few months back, Nintendo was unfortunately forced to cancel Nintendo Live 2024 Tokyo for safety reasons after receiving a number of threats to event goers and staff.
Today, the company has announced that some of the festivities will still go on at a later date. Specifically, the planned concerts for Splatoon 3 and The Legend Of Zelda will be premiered online via Youtube as pre-recorded footage. The Legend Of Zelda Orchestral concert will air first on February 9th 2024, while the Splatoon 3 Deep Cut concert will air on February 10th 2024.
In addition, the exclusive merch that was planned to be sold at the event will instead be available on the MyNintendo store starting from today. The full details can be found via Nintendo’s news post here.
