Nintendo has revealed interesting details about the Nintendo Switch Lite during their Q&A session for the 6 months ending September 30, 2019.
Nintendo President Shuntaro Furukawa said both the Nintendo Switch Lite and The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening released at the same time. As the game was released for handheld consoles in the start, many customers who purchased a Switch Lite also bought Link’s Awakening.
Besides this phenomenon, Nintendo also observed games that core gamers like, such as The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, have seen higher sales in the early days of the Nintendo Switch Lite. Furukawa hopes to continue broadening this base of customers in the future.
