Nintendo of America, which is headquartered in Washington and has a satellite office in California, has announced it will allow all of their employees to work from home.
This is in light of the ongoing coronavirus outbreak that has struck the United States. Redmond, which is where Nintendo of America’s HQ is, has seen a high number of coronavirus cases as well, and the city’s mayor has proclaimed a state of emergency.
Here’s the company’s statement:
Nintendo of America has taken the precautionary step to allow NOA employees in the states of California and Washington the opportunity to work from home. The safety and wellbeing of our employees is our top priority. We are continuing to closely monitor COVID-19 developments, and share our concerns and support for those affected by the COVID-19 outbreak.
