Nintendo Of Europe has announces some changes in its internal leadership.
Firstly, Stephan Bole will be stepping down as President of NoE after six years in the position. According to NoE, Bole “decided to leave the company and call an end to his full-time professional career”. Bole is being succeeded by Luciano Pereña as the CEO and President. Pereña previously served as the company’s Chief Financial Officer. Along with the change in President, Laurent Fischer has been named as the new Chief Operating Officer (formerly Chief Marketing Officer), while Tom Enoki will be Senior Managing Director.
The new President Luciano Pereña had this to say about his new role:
“On behalf of the entire company, I extend my sincere thanks to Stephan Bole for his outstanding leadership and many years dedicated to Nintendo. I am honoured to continue Nintendo’s purpose of putting smiles on faces, and I am confident that this leadership group and united European team will allow us to build on our company’s legacy of delivering unique experiences.”
