Besides the change in Nintendo’s CEO and President, Satoru Shibata, the current President of Nintendo of Europe, will be stepping down from his position this year.
Shibata has served Nintendo of Europe (NOE) and Nintendo of Australia for a very long period of time. After stepping down as President of NOE, Shibata will return to Japan to serve on Nintendo’s board of directors as Director and Senior Executive Officer. Shibata’s replacement for Nintendo of Europe hasn’t been named yet.
