We have some unfortunate news for anyone hoping to enjoy playing their Nintendo games online while stuck at home.
According to an official announcement on Twitter, as well as the “Current Network Status” page, Nintendo’s online services for the Switch, 3DS and WiiU are currently down. According to reports, the issues first started occurring at around 6pm CT, and have yet to be resolved as of this writing.
As stated in the Tweet, Nintendo is aware of the situation and is currently working on a fix. Players are advised to keep checking back on Nintendo’s network status page to get the latest updates on when the servers are back up.
