In the past few days, Princess Bowser, also known as Bowsette, became a huge hit on Twitter after an illustrator from Malaysia brought the character to life in one of their comics.
One of the countries where Princess Bowser has become so popular is none other than Japan. As we’ve detailed earlier today, Japanese fans have fallen in love with Princess Bowser due to its charming design.
Naturally, one would wonder what Nintendo thinks about all this. Japanese website J-Cast News asked Nintendo for comment, and here’s what they said:
“Concerning the drawings and other things uploaded to the Internet, we have no comment.”
Unfortunately, that’s all we have heard from Nintendo, at least for now. J-Cast News also reported that there are currently 1,400 Princess Bowser artwork at the time of writing.
