Earlier this week, the Nikkei published a report claiming the Nintendo is working on a new device nicknamed Nintendo Switch Mini that is smaller in size and more affordable for consumers.
Ars Technica reached out to Nintendo of America to find out what they think about Nikkei’s report. Here is what they said:
“We have nothing to announce on this topic.”
This naturally means it isn’t the right time for Nintendo to announce the Switch Mini. Nikkei expects the device the launch in mid 2019, so we’ll probably hear about it by then.
