Nintendo Shares About How Warp Pipes Will Work In Animal Crossing: New Horizons

Earlier this week, Nintendo revealed some of the Super Mario items heading to Animal Crossing: New Horizons. One of these exciting new additions is the familiar Warp Pipe, and now we’ve learnt more about how it will function!

Nintendo has shared new details about the item – such as some of its limitations and useful properties. Here are the main highlights to take note of:

  • In order to use a Warp Pipe, two or more Warp Pipes must be placed on your island.

  • If there are three or more Warp Pipes on your island, the Warp Pipe you emerge from will be random.

  • You can also travel in and out of your house by using Warp Pipes.

  • If there is not enough room for the player to step off from a Warp Pipe at a particular destination, the Warp Pipe will not work.

Additionally, while Nintendo did not mentioned this explicitly, the official trailer for the Super Mario items also confirms that Warp Pipes will certainly work in multiplayer sessions – so players might be able to use them to construct some interesting obstacle courses!

What do you think? Are you excited about the many applications of the Warp Pipe? Feel free to share below!
