Reports from Japanese users claim that the Nintendo Switch 2 could now be easily purchased in rural areas of Japan.
According to users, some AEON locations have started offering the console to walk-in purchases without the need of participating in a lottery or meeting other conditions. At one of these AEON locations, the console was so well stocked that it was still available for purchase two hours after it opened for the day.
These reports suggest that the Nintendo Switch 2 shortage may be easing in Japan. However, it’s worth noting that the console is still relatively difficult to get in cities like Tokyo and Osaka.
