It seems that a Nintendo Switch 2 may have been smuggled out of the production line from a factory in China.
A video circulating on Chinese model shows what appears to be a retail Nintendo Switch 2 unit. The biggest sign pointing to it being smuggled out of a factory is what’s being displayed on the screen – options such as “Charge Battery”, “LaunchAgingTest”, “Reboot”, and “Shutdown” appear to be from quality control firmware used for testing before the final retail firmware is installed.
The video also shows a user trying to attach and detach the Joy-Con from the console.
