In the latest Nintendo Today! app post, Nintendo shared that Nintendo Switch 2 supports up to 8 wireless controllers at the same time.
This means that up to 8 players can play together in a compatible multiplayer game with a single Joy-Con. This is the same number of players and controllers that the Nintendo Switch supports.
Nintendo also showed the player LEDs for each Joy-Con when 8 Joy-Con are connected to the system. Check it out below:
