Thankfully, Nintendo has provided a very simple solution. For USD3.99 or 324 yen, you can purchase a replacement kickstand from the Nintendo Online Store. Once the kickstand has been delivered, you can just slot it into your Nintendo Switch and voila, everything’s back to normal.
The replacement kickstand can be ordered online from the official Nintendo store in North America here, and in Japan here. If you are living outside Japan, the United States, or Canada, you may need to use a forwarding service to assist you in delivery.
