In order to prepare for the launch of Nintendo Switch Online, Nintendo has made a very important announcement concerning the Nintendo eShop.
Starting today at 5pm Pacific Time, the Switch eShop will be closed for maintenance for up to 3 hours. When the eShop is closed, you cannot purchase any new titles. After the eShop reopens, Nintendo Switch Online will be available for purchase.
