Media Create has just released its latest statistics for the past week and Nintendo Switch sales are at over 4 Million in Japan alone. 4,036,797 units in 13 months to be exact.
To put things in perspective, the PlayStation 4 sales are currently at 6,626,656 in Japan, but they have been in the market about three times longer than the Nintendo Switch at 36 months. What’s more, the Switch had to deal with severe supply shortages in the 13 months of sale, making things more impressive on the Switch’s end.
Nintendo CEO, Tatsumi Kimishima, aims to sell 20 million Switch in this fiscal year alone. Hopefully, the Switch can keep up its momentum and help Nintendo achieve its target.
