Nintendo’s official Japanese customer support account has put out a tweet informing customers about playing Nintendo Switch 2 and Nintendo Switch outdoors.
The company says that there is a possibility that the temperature of a Nintendo Switch 2 or Nintendo Switch will increase when used in a place with high temperatures, which could cause system failure or damage. Nintendo recommends customers to play in places with temperatures between 5 to 35 degree Celsius (41 to 95 Fahrenheit).
Thus, the company has requested users to refrain from playing their console outdoors, as the temperature exceeded 35 degree Celsius for multiple days in Japan.
It should be worth noting that the Nintendo Switch 2 automatically shuts down when the console is overheated.
