Nintendo Tokyo And Pokemon Center Shibuya 8-Bit Collaboration Merch Announced

Earlier this month, Nintendo and The Pokemon Company revealed that the Pokemon Center Shibuya and Nintendo Tokyo stores would be opening right in front of each other at PARCO Shibuya mall. As part of their official opening on 22 November 2019, it looks like visitors can grab some incredibly cool merch!

According to Nintendo and The Pokemon Company, both stores will be offering a line-up of collaboration goods based on the other store’s characters! For example, Pokemon Center Shibuya will sell 8-bit Super Mario goods drawn with Pokemon Red/Blue sprites. Meanwhile, Nintendo Tokyo will offer 8-bit Pokemon goods drawn with Super Mario Bros. sprites!

Unfortunately, it looks like these goods will remain exclusive to the two stores within Japan for now. We’ll report back if any international options become available in the future.
