Nintendo Was The Fourth Highest Rated Game Company On Metacritic In 2018

Recently, Metacritic have revealed their 2019 Game Publisher Rankings which has Nintendo as the fourth highest rated video game publisher in 2018!

Last year, Nintendo were 2nd in the rankings so they seem to have dropped by 2 places now. This is likely due to Nintendo not having as many major releases compared to 2017 with Super Mario Odyssey and The Legend Of Zelda: Breath of The Wild that year.

As you can see above, their stats were the following:

Best Rated Game: Super Smash Bros Ultimate 93/100

Worst Rated Game: Kirby Battle Royale 83/100

Best New IP: Octopath Traveler 57/100

Nintendo was sadly beaten by these publishers in the order:

Capcom- 1st

SEGA-2nd

EA-3rd
