NintendoSoup Announcement: Site Changes

Today, we’d like to announce a few changes that have been made to NintendoSoup that you may be interested to know.

First, NintendoSoup is now using the Disqus comment system. Reason behind the change – we felt Disqus offers a better moderation system and a better experience for users. Comments made on the old system have been fully migrated to Disqus, so thankfully they aren’t lost!

Next – we have ceased the email subscription service with immediate effect, as it has been affecting the performance of the site. We’ll be on the lookout for other solutions. Although adoption has been extremely low for the email subscription service, we’d like to thank everyone who subscribed in the past. Alternative and reliable ways to follow us include Facebook, Twitter, and RSS.

And that’s about it. We’ll be making another announcement pertaining our review policy shortly, so please stay tuned. Thanks for reading!
