Our writeup on the dismal customer reviews Pokemon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon received on Amazon Japan caused a huge stir on the Internet, given that both titles received generally positive reviews from critics. Most of the criticism stems from customers who have previously purchased Pokemon Sun and Moon, as they felt Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon wasn’t worth the upgrade with the amount of extra content. Some condemned the game’s misleading advertisements, which promised “a new story”.
