Earlier this week, Nippon Ichi Software began teasing a mysterious new title in the works – with nothing but a cryptic trailer providing hints. Well, it looks like this all new game is no longer such an enigma!
A new teaser trailer (see below) has revealed that the game will be titled Tantei Bokumetsu (Detective Elimination). According to the latest issue of Famitsu, Tantei Bokumetsu will be hitting both Switch and PS4 in Japan on 27 May 2021.
Reportedly, the game’s story will following 14 detectives – who gather on a remote island to catch a murderer on the run. Of course, it will be up to players to discover who the murderer really is. The 14 detectives are as follows:
For now, Nippon Ichi Software has not announced any plans for a western release. We’ll report back if we hear more in the future!
