No Legendary Shiny Lock In Pokemon Let’s GO Pikachu/Eevee

As the datamining of Pokemon Let’s GO Pikachu/Eevee continues, we continue to receive more information what Game Freak has changed in the game.

One of the most important changes expected to be the most welcome is the removal of Shiny Lock for Legendary Pokemon in Pokemon Let’s GO Pikachu/Eevee. This means it’ll be possible to catch a Shiny Legendary Pokemon without cheating.

In previously released games such as Pokemon X and Y, it’s impossible to catch a Shiny Xerneas or Shiny Yveltal as Shiny Lock is enforced on Legendary Pokemon.

While Shiny Lock has been lifted on Legendary Pokemon in Pokemon Let’s GO Pikachu/Eevee, there’s a Shiny Lock on all Starter Pokemon in the game, something which has never happened in previous games.
