It looks like folks in Taiwan will soon have a fun new way to pay for their meals and public transport, Pokemon style!
The Pokemon Company and Taiwan’s EasyCard Corporation have teamed up to produce an official EasyCard in the shape of an Ultra Ball from the Pokemon games. When used for payments, the Ultra Ball even has a green light that will light up.
Currently, this cool new item is on sale at FamilyMart convenience stores in Taiwan, at $NT350 (or around $13 USD) each.
