EEDAR/PlayerPulse has released a very interesting study on the percentage of Nintendo 3DS owners who own a Nintendo Switch in the United States.
According to the study, just 24% of Nintendo 3DS owners own a Nintendo Switch. The study suggests that these users could have a preference for dedicated Handheld consoles, cheaper game consoles, or both.
The study proves that Nintendo’s strategy to release the Nintendo Switch Lite, a cheaper and smaller Handheld-only console, will entice the 76% of 3DS owners who have yet to purchase a Switch to buy a Switch Lite.
