Been praying for an English release of Persona 5 Scramble: The Phantom Strikers? It might not be that far off!
According to Koei Tecmo’s recent financial report for the year ending 31 March 2020, the company is now planning an ‘overseas’ localization of the musou game. The company did not divulge further information besides this – but at least we know something is progressing behind the scenes now!
Persona 5 Scramble: The Phantom Strikers originally hit Nintendo Switch in Japan on 20 February 2020 – and acted as a direct follow-up to the original Persona 5. Up until now, both Atlus and Koei Tecmo stayed quiet about the possibility of bringing the game to English-speakers – although a recent Atlus survey did ask fans if they would like to see it get a western release.
In any case, we’ll report back when we hear more. Stay tuned!
