Peruvian Nintendo Switch eShop Charges 239 Dollars For Breath Of The Wild
A massive glitch has been detected on the official Peruvian Nintendo Switch eShop that’s based on the Internet today.
Reddit user TheOnlyRealSquare, who discovered the issue, said they added The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild (USD69) and the Season Pass (USD23) to his shopping cart. After adding both items to the shopping cart, the price of Breath of the Wild magically increased to USD239.
To check whether this was a glitch that only affected the website, TheOnlyRealSquare tried to pay by PayPal, but PayPal was also asking for USD239:
It seems that Nintendo is moving towards using the Peruvian Sole (PEN) instead of the US Dollar (USD) on the Peruvian Nintendo eShop. But for some reason, instead of converting the price to PEN239 (about USD70), the price increased from USD69 to USD239. Hopefully it’ll be fixed soon.
