Piplup Mystery Gift Announced For Pokemon Legends Arceus And Brilliant Diamond/Shining Pearl In South Korea

The Pokemon Commpany has announced a new mystery gift event for Pokemon Legends Arceus and Pokemon Brilliant Diamond/Shining Pearl in South Korea.

The event is a serial code distribution that will allow players to receive a special Piplup based on the one owned by Dawn in the anime, in celebration of the debut of Giratina & The Sky Warrior in South Korean theaters. The event will run from June 1st till July 31st 2022, and codes can be obtained by spending over 35,000 Won at the Pokémon Store Online for one code, or over 60,000 won for two codes.

The Piplup will have different attributes and moves depending on which game it is redeemed in as follows:

  • Pokémon Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl:  Will have the Everstone and the moves Hydro Pump, Bubblebeam, Whirlpool and Peck
  • Pokémon Legends: Arceus: Will have the moves Liquidation, Bubble, Water Pulse and Aerial Ace
